About Jim Wolf

Jim Wolf has spent twenty years mining the traditions of Cape Cod and performing oral stories for schoolchildren and summer visitors. The Magic of the Clam Flats is an adaptation of an audience favorite, and is Wolf’s second children’s book, following When Santa Claus Met Sandy Claws. Wolf was born and raised in Philadelphia, and attended Germantown Friends. He studied literature at Harvard College (class of 1978).  Currently Director of Sustainability at Cape Air,  Wolf is committed to the practices of conservation and sustainability, which are reflected in his stories. He is married to author Irene M. Paine, and is a proud grandfather, as well as being a favorite uncle to many. He lives in Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts.
